Did you know?

Australia has the third highest number of international students in the world behind only the United Kingdom and the United States despite having a population of only 23 million? This isn’t surprising when you consider Australia has seven of the top 100 universities in the world! In fact, with over 22,000 courses across 1,100 institutions, Australia sits above the likes of Germany, Netherlands and Japan, ranking among top ten countries in the 2019 U21 Ranking of National Higher Education Systems.

The Australian Government implemented the new Simplified Student Visa Framing (SSVP) in 2016 in which Bangladesh is under Level-2 Assessment which states a student subclass 500 visa lets you stay in Australia for the duration of your study program, which is mostly up to five years and in line with your enrolment date. You can read up in detail about this kind of visa on the Australian Government’s Department of Home Affairs website (https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/)
